Letters
Printing hate
font: small med large

You should be ashamed of yourself for printing the “responses” to the airport tree issues. Even the secular newspapers such as the Times or the P-I didn’t print such hate-filled, anti-Semitic letters. The letter from Michael Ball of Spokane was particularly appalling, suggesting that Rabbi Bogomilsky should shave to prove he’s not a terrorist. Was your point to prove that the Jewish community doesn’t stand united with Chabad, or better yet, what exactly was your point? Do you think the tree issue started these feelings of anti-Semitism? Washington State has always been a breeding ground for hatemongers and extremists, and I’ve got news for you, those feelings are there and people are just looking for an excuse to get them out. Congratulations for giving them a forum to do it.
