The Washington State Jewish Historical Society (WSJHS) will host the February meeting of the Association of King County Historical Organizations (AKCHO) on Feb. 29 at 9:30 a.m. at Bikur Cholim-Machzikay Hadath Congregation, 5145 S. Morgan St., Seattle.
After a brief social hour, Jacqueline Williams, a board member of WSJHS, will address the group on early philanthropic organizations in the Jewish community. Williams is a co-author, along with Howard Droker and Molly Cone, of the WSJHS’s history of the Jews of Washington State, a work that is now being prepared for publication.
Kosher refreshments will be served under the direction of Meta Butnick. AKCHO meetings are free and open to the public. For more information, call Goldie at 206-524-5309.
