Jewish Family Service is offering its annual Single Parent Family Camp Friday, March 2, through Sunday, March 4, at Camp Solomon Schechter.
Jewish single parents and their children will celebrate Shabbat, participate in activities for adults and children (counselors provided), and enjoy a sense of community while sharing their experiences and successes.
Dr. Suzanne Engelberg, Child Psychologist, and Natalie Merkur Rose, director of Community Outreach and Education, will facilitate. Rose says, “We want to get the word out that our Single Parent Family Camp will be in March this year. It is one of our most popular programs.” In past years, the camp was held in spring or summer.
