Seattle Kollel Winter Learning Institute will be having its yearly week-long learning program, Dec. 25–29, at the Seattle Hebrew Academy.
The learning sessions will be held each morning following breakfast from 9:30 a.m. to noon. The subjects covered will be Talmud, a tour of Jewish literature, basics of Jewish prayer and a spiritual and mystical look at Hanukkah. There will be special sessions for teen-agers who want to learn the basics of Web design to create a multimedia page about Shabbat.
The morning sessions will be followed with a learning lunch each day at the Teapot restaurant. There will be baby-sitting available for the morning sessions. For more information, contact Rabbi Naftali Goldsmith at 206-760-1256 or seakol@aol.com.
