The mission of Huskies for Israel is to educate the University of Washington campus community about the State of Israel, its culture, history, and relationship with the United States. They promote political involvement and activism on campus specifically, but not limited to, pro-Israel education and pro-Israel activism.
Huskies for Israel builds relationships with campus groups such as the College Republicans and the Young Democrats, Black Student Union and Interfaith Dialogue Groups, while they also try to work with departments on campus such as the Jewish Studies Department and the Middle East Center.
They encourage their members to become empowered leaders and to take accountability for the message the campus community receives about Israel. They believe Israel advocacy and education to be valuable, as it will soon be up to the current college-age generation to continue the legacy that our ancestors placed their faith in.
