The Seattle Sephardic Sisterhood has two major projects each year: the Aid to Israel Tea in the spring, when they announce the recipient of a college scholarship awarded to a member’s daughter, and the Kline Galland Home Luncheon every fall. The proceeds from these events go to the Or Ha Haim girls’ school in Israel and to the Kline Galland Home.
In addition, with the Ezra Bessaroth and Sephardic Bikur Holim women’s auxiliaries, the Sisterhood participates in the annual Hanukkah luncheon, with the proceeds going to the Jewish Family Service’s food bank.
In conjunction with the Seattle Sephardic Brotherhood, the Sisterhood provides a dinner after the annual Jack Caston Memorial Golf Tournament.
