Alexander Muss High School in Israel is dedicated to engaging teens to discover and embrace their connection to Israel’s history, land, and culture through education, experiences, and understanding.
AMHSI’s eight-week program — designed for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors — is offered four times during the academic year and in the summer. The program is non-denominational, pluralistic, and is designed for both public and private school students. Whether students are looking to explore their heritage or are interested in history or traveling, AMHSI offers these opportunities, while preparing students for college. The two-month study abroad program follows a chronological curriculum spanning 4,000 years, using the land of Israel as a “living classroom.” In addition, AMHSI is fully accredited so students can continue with their high school subjects, such as math, science, and foreign language, and receive full credit from their high school while abroad. Students are also eligible to receive college credits through AMHSI.
In addition to our core program, AMHSI works with Jewish Day Schools and community groups to custom design programs to meet each group’s unique educational goals.
